Graham Beans Shunting Layout part completed.
The Shunting Layout that Graham had recently started is 9feet long, by 2feet wide. It is in two sections, each 4’6” long.
As far as I can see, it is self-contained with hidden sidings, and does NOT require a separate fiddle-yard.

Wedmore End Grahams Gauge O layout,
Wedmore is 17feet long, by 2 feet wide; PLUS the fiddle yard.
It is in four sections; two at 4'6", and two at 4'. The cassette fiddle yard forms a fifth section, and looks from the photos to be about 4' long. Wedmore can be seen in Model Railway Journal No.69, back in 1994. It is a fictitious Somerset & Dorset branch terminus, built by Trevor Gibson. Graham had “converted” it to digital, although precisely how he did this I don’t know.
